Joy Of Humans
Album · Egyptian Maraccas · 2012
Joy Of Humans was released in 2012 through Egyptian Maraccas, a blog and label curated by Boldtron and Boloblas. Conceived as a digital-native release, the album represents a period of maximum creative expansion for Lenticular Clouds.
The record blends sequenced electronics with guitars, keyboards and an ethereal, filtered vocal presence. Rather than belonging to a single genre, the tracks move across a spectrum connecting hypnagogic pop, ambient structures and subtle dance impulses.
Sound, image and interface were conceived together, extending the album beyond audio into a navigable web-based environment.
Netart environment
Alongside the release, Joy Of Humans unfolded as a dedicated netart project. Each track existed as its own HTML page, combining animated GIFs, hidden navigation areas and embedded audio into a symbolic, non-linear experience.
Each page functioned as an interpretative space: visual metaphors, cryptic interfaces and spatialised sound formed a parallel reading of each composition.
NFT editions
In November 2021, selected tracks from Joy Of Humans were released as NFT editions on Hic et Nunc (Tezos). Each piece was minted as a standalone audiovisual work.
