Jazz Reverse – Lenticular Clouds artwork

Jazz Reverse is a series of instrumental experiments built around electric guitar improvisation. Using a Fender Telecaster, the project explores jazz-inspired scales processed through reverse delay and reverb effects.

The recordings are structured as four distinct sequences, each capturing a specific temporal and harmonic configuration. Rather than composed pieces, the tracks function as studies in flow, gesture and spatial inversion.

Process

The guitar acts as the primary sound source, while time-based effects reshape phrasing and perception. Reverse processing turns attack into echo, generating a continuous dialogue between intention and result.

This approach places the project between improvisation, sound design and ambient abstraction.

Audiovisual NFT edition

Jazz Reverse was also released as an audiovisual NFT edition on objkt (Tezos). The project exists as a four-sequence compilation where music and video are conceived as a single unit.

Each sequence pairs a guitar improvisation with a corresponding video piece. The music is built from jazzy, free-flowing guitar jams shaped by reverse delays and contemporary sound effects, while the visuals unfold as delicate glitch progressions that evolve in close relation to the audio.

The four sequences were minted individually on January 5, 2022, as a limited audiovisual edition.
