Ciencia / Conciencia
Album · Neonized Records · 2011
Ciencia / Conciencia is the debut album by Lenticular Clouds, released in 2011 through Neonized Records. Conceived as a journey through the great enigmas of modern physics, the album explores concepts that usually remain outside official scientific discourse, translating them into sound.
The record moves within aetherpop, chillwave and dreampop territories, balancing electronic textures with melodic structures. At its core, Ciencia / Conciencia seeks luminosity and harmony emerging from chaos, using music as a tool to suggest order within complex systems.
Composed and recorded in Barcelona in 2011, the album established the conceptual foundations of Lenticular Clouds: sound as a medium to reflect perception, consciousness and the invisible architectures that shape reality.

Artwork & visual material
The album artwork was designed by David Méndez (Misterthefreak), representing one of his early works where his distinctive visual language began to take shape. The cover features a kitsch, costumbrist still life, grounding abstract concepts in everyday imagery.
Two music videos were produced during this period, expanding the album’s visual universe through distinct audiovisual interpretations:
Video by Gerard Bernal · Music by Lenticular Clouds
Video by Adrià Giralt · Music by Lenticular Clouds
These visual works form part of the extended universe of Ciencia / Conciencia and may be recovered and presented as archival material.
