Burbuja

Audiovisual work · theWrong Gallery · 2013

Burbuja is an audiovisual work created for the 2013 edition of theWrong Gallery. Conceived as a continuous 21-minute piece, it operates as a hybrid between video art and improvised musical mixtape.

The soundtrack is built around electronic ambient textures combined with live guitar improvisations, unfolding as a single evolving flow rather than a collection of separate tracks.

Visually, Burbuja explores the porous boundary between natural and technological environments. Organic imagery is digitally processed and recontextualised, generating a visual language where physical landscapes and synthetic structures coexist and dissolve into each other.

Sound and image develop in parallel, not as illustration, but as two autonomous systems interacting through rhythm, repetition and transformation.

Presented within the context of theWrong, the piece reflects an early stage of Lenticular Clouds’ interest in long-form audiovisual structures and hybrid digital formats.
